Last year we co-sponsored a colloquium at London’s School for Oriental and African Studies entitled “Avicenna and Avicennisms.” The presenters discussed a range of topics in Avicennan and post-Avicennan thought, including metaphysics, logic, natural philosophy, and even anthropology. We are pleased to make available the audio recordings of most of those presentations. (In a couple of cases, there were problems with the recordings, and so no audio is available.) Links to the audio files as well as to visual materials for some of the presentations have now been added to the Colloquium webpage. Click here to be taken to the page.
